Taxogeography

...Depending on which of these factors is emphasized, biogeography can be broadly divided into two. (1) Taxogeography: Almost the same as biodistribution. It deals mainly with the geographical distribution of organisms, and aims to clarify the geographical relationships of each geographical region by identifying the fauna and flora of each region, setting biogeographical divisions, i.e., zoogeographical and botanical regions, based on their types, and clarifying the geological relationships of each geographical region by using the phylogenetic affinities of the organisms contained within.
