Kindergarten

According to the School Education Law, it is a pre-elementary school educational institution with the purpose of "nurturing young children, providing them with a suitable environment, and promoting their physical and mental development" (Article 77), and is positioned as part of the school system. It is generally believed to have begun in 1837 when F. W. Froebel opened one in Blankenburg, Germany, and the name Kindergarten has spread to countries around the world. It means a flower garden where the buds of plants that have the potential to grow on their own grow under the guidance of an excellent gardener.
