Tenpin bowling is an indoor sport in which a ball is rolled towards a target. Tenpin bowling is generally known as tenpin bowling, in which ten pins are knocked down. Other games of this type include ninepins and lawn bowls, as well as curling and pétanque.
[history]
Simple games like rolling a stone are thought to have been played from ancient times. During the Roman period, bowling-style games spread throughout Europe. It is also said that the direct prototype of bowling was the Kegel, a game in which German peasants carried a club and threw stones, and in monasteries, criminals were judged by whether the club would fall or not.
