Kalisch

...It is called the War of Liberation because the nations fought for their national liberation and independence from France, but it is also called the War of Nations. When Napoleon failed in his campaign against Moscow and the pursuing Russian army approached the German border at the end of 1812, Prussia promised Russia the neutralization of its own troops that had been fighting on Napoleon's side (Tauroggen Agreement), and then in February 1813, it allied with Russia (Treaty of Kalisch). On the other hand, under the leadership of Scharnhorst, Prussia carried out military reforms, organized militias and volunteers, and declared war on France on March 17.
