Ibrāhīm 'Abd al-Qādir (English spelling)

He was a member of the Arab Academy (Damascus) and the Academy of the Arabic Language (Cairo). He was also active in the literary world of his time as a new type of critic, and was known as Ibrāhīm 'Abd al‐Qādir. His works include a collection of pathos-filled essays called The Straw Reaper, a critique called The Poems of Hafiz Ibrahim, and a collection of poems.
