Ibn Miskawayh

...Historian and philosopher of the Buyid period. Also known as Ibn Miskawayh. He served as secretary to Muhallabi, the prime minister of the Buyid ruler Mu'izz al-Dawla, and was in the court until the reign of Ad al-Dawla, and was well versed in the human relations and political affairs of the Buyid dynasty.
