Onusa - Onusa

Japanese: 大ぬさ - おおぬさ

Also written as "Dainuza" or "Daihei". Early modern music and song book. Author unknown. First published in 1685 (Jokyo 2), it was collected together with "Ikanobori" and "Chiin no Nakadachi" in the "Shichiku Daizen" published in 1687, and the 12th year of the Genroku edition was circulated. 4 volumes. The title was chosen from the character "Daihei" (大平), which means "many pullers", but the character does not appear in the text. Volume 1 contains articles on shamisen playing and scores for "Yoshinoyama" and "Sugagaki", volume 2 scores for "Rinzetsu", "Renbonagashi", and "Tosei Nagebushi", volume 3 contains lyrics for the main and broken parts of shamisen group songs and the titles of secret songs, and volume 4 contains lyrics for 22 new songs.

《大怒佐》《大幣》とも表記する。近世の音楽･歌謡書。著者不詳。1685年(貞享2)初刊とされるが，87年刊《糸竹（しちく）大全》に《紙鳶（いかのぼり）》《知音の媒（ちいんのなかだち）》と合収，99年(元禄12)版が流布。4巻。〈引手あまた〉の意から大幣の字をあてて書名としたものだが，本文中にその用字はない。巻一は三味線の奏法などの記事と《吉野山》《すががき》などの譜，巻二は《りんぜつ》《れんぼながし》《当世なげぶし》の譜，巻三は三味線組歌の本手･破手（はで）の詞章と，秘曲の曲名，巻四は新曲22曲の詞章を収める。
