Golden nematode

...When you look at the roots of crops that have turned green and yellow two months after germination, you can see many white to milky white female adults about 0.6 mm in size. The potato cyst nematode is also called the golden nematode because the female adults turn a bright golden color at one point. Cyst nematodes generally have a narrow host range, so crop rotation with non-host crops or resistant varieties is an effective control measure.
