…A general term (illustration) for crustaceans belonging to the Galatheidae family, a type of hermit crab that is intermediate between shrimps and crabs. Its external appearance is more similar to that of a shrimp, and it is named after its folded abdomen, but it is also called Galatea from its basic genus name, Galathea .
