Misasa [town] - Misasa
A town in Tohaku County in central Tottori Prefecture. The town is centered on a hot spring village that developed on the terraces of the Misasa River, a tributary of the Tenjin River. Misasa Onsen is a simple radioactive hot spring with a temperature of 40-85°C and the highest radium content in the country, making it a national health resort hot spring. Accessible by bus from Kurayoshi City. Features include Ojikakei (a scenic spot), Mt. Mitoku, and Ningyo Pass. 233.52 km2 . 7,015 people (2010).
