Year of death: June 28, 1431 (August 6, 1431) Year of birth: Eiwa 3/Tenshu 3 (1377) A military commander in the Muromachi period. His childhood name was Rokuro. His official title was Sakyo no daifu. It can also be read as "Moriharu." He was called Michio. He was the son of Hiroyo and the younger brother of Yoshihiro. After the Oei War in 1399, he rebelled against Hiroshige, who had succeeded him as head of the family, and defeated Ouchi Michinobu to establish his power. He was appointed as the shugo of Suo, Nagato, and Buzen. He worked to establish control over his territory, and frequently sent envoys to Korea. In 1429, he became the deputy governor of Chikuzen, a province under Ouchi Yoshinori, and fought against the Shoni and Otomo clans, but was defeated and killed at Fukae in Chikuzen.
