[National Conquest Theory]
As the historical process of conquest shows, conquest is a kind of phenomenon of power domination, and therefore tends to be considered to be a phenomenon directly related to the primitive origin of the state and the emergence of political power. The theory of state conquest (Eroberungstheorie) is a theory that seeks the origin of the state in the conquest of a weaker group, tribe, or class by a stronger group, tribe, or class. This idea was advocated by Gumplowicz, Gustav Ratzenhofer, Franz Oppenheimer, and others, especially by the Austrian School in the late 19th century.
