...In Russian, it is called futurizm. Four main groups were active: kubofuturizm (also called Gileya) led by DD Burliuk, Mayakovsky, Khlebnikov, AE Kruchenykh, and VV Kamensky; egofuturism led by I. Severyanin; mezonin poezii led by VG Shershenevich; and tsentrifuga led by Pasternak and Asseev. Among them, the cubofuturists, under the banner of a total denial of the cultural heritage of the past, aimed to create truly independent art, and published many poetry collections such as The Judge's Breeding Ground (1910) and A Slap in the Face of Society's Tastes (1912) in solidarity with contemporary avant-garde painters such as MF Larionov and KS Malevich. ...
