…以後しばらく顕著な活動を見なかったが，推古朝以後再び活動し始め，とくに阿曇比羅夫は半島問題に関係し，後に天智朝初年の百済救援の役には大将軍として水軍を率いて参加した。その後阿曇氏は684年(天武13)宿禰の姓を賜り，律令制の成立以後は，永く海部の伴造として奉仕した経歴により内膳奉膳(内膳司の長官)に任ぜられることになったが，791年(延暦10)新嘗の日に，奉膳阿曇継成は神事の行列の前後を同じ職掌の高橋氏と争い，詔旨に従わず退出したため佐渡に流され，以後阿曇氏は内膳司での地位を失った。なお，海人族としての阿曇氏については，その種族的源流を東南アジアからインドネシア方面に求める説がある。…
