Eugen [Duke of Savoy] - Eugen
Austrian general. Born in Paris, he was not employed by Louis XIV, but instead served three Habsburg Holy Roman Emperors, starting with Leopold I. He achieved military success in the War of Defense against Turkey, the War of France, and the War of the Spanish Succession, and was also active in politics and diplomacy, earning him the nickname "de facto king."
