(1508-82), served as president of the Paris High Court and is known for his great contributions to the compilation of Paris customary law. His uncle, Nicolas de T. (1528-98), was Bishop of Chartres and supported the royalists, and arranged for the consecration of Henry IV at Chartres Cathedral in 1594.
