Conseil Economique et Social

The Economic and Social Council is made up of 12 members elected from each house. (4) The Economic and Social Council is consulted by the government and provides advice on plans and bills on economic and social issues. Although it is an advisory body, it can also independently draft reforms that it considers necessary for economic and social issues and propose them to the government.
