Enkanruikan box - Enkanruikan

A Chinese encyclopedia from the Qing Dynasty. Compiled by order of Emperor Kangxi, Zhang Ying, Wang Shizhen and others served as directors, with 132 editors assigned to edit it, and it was completed in 1710. It has 450 volumes in total. It is a collection of historical idioms and phrases from the poetry and prose of the Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties, with commentary. The contents are divided into 44 categories, including Heaven, Seasons, Earth and Emperors, and are further divided into categories. It was originally intended to be used for composing poetry and anecdotes, but it is also a useful book for finding historical events.

中国、清(しん)代の類書（百科事典）。康煕帝(こうきてい)の勅を奉じて、張英、王士禎(おうしてい)らが総裁として、132名に分担編集させ、1710年完成。全450巻。唐、宋(そう)、元、明(みん)の詩文のなかから、故事成語を集めて注釈したもの。内容は、天、歳時、地、帝王以下44部門に分類し、さらに細目に分けてある。本来は詩賦をつくるためのものであったが、故事を検出するのに便利な書である。
