Chinese checker (English)

...A type of board game. In Japan, it is sold under the names "Diamond Game" or "Halma", but in Europe and the United States it is called Chinese checker. Its prototype is halma (meaning "jump" in Greek), which was popular in the late Victorian era (late 19th century).
