…The excavated remains include a large number of stone tools, bone and horn tools, and among the bone and horn products in particular, there are some wonderful works of art such as sculptures such as Venus figures, waterfowl figures, and rhino figures, as well as plate-shaped ornaments with carved snakes. There is also a group of late Paleolithic dwelling sites in Buret', 7 to 8 km from this site, where the remains excavated are very similar to those at the Marita site, and Venus figures have also been excavated. The age of these sites is estimated to be about 20,000 years ago. …
