...Seeds are about 0.8 mm in diameter. The genus Sisyrinchium (English name: blue-eyed-grass) is a group that has evolved to adapt to the arid regions of North America, and about 100 species are known. In Japan, the blue-eyed grass S. graminoides Bicknell has also become naturalized.
