Villa Cisneros (English spelling)

...The coast of Western Sahara is one of the world's largest fishing grounds, and is rich in marine resources. The main cities are the central city of Aiyun, Dakhla (formerly Villa Cisneros), La Güera, and the inland towns of Smāra and Guelta Zumūr. According to the 1974 census, the population was about 75,000, and even with the inclusion of the Spanish, the population was less than 100,000.
