However, liberalism in the narrow sense is seen in those who seek to eliminate dogma, such as DF Strauss and AE Biedermann (1819-85), and in the school of religious history that emerged at the end of the 19th century (mostly biblical scholars, but systematically represented by E. Troeltsch). Schleiermacher, who was associated with Pietism, criticized dogma-centered orthodoxy and tried to reinterpret Christianity as a theory of religion and faith. …
