Naraha [town] - Naraha

Japanese: 楢葉[町] - ならは

A town in Futaba County facing the Pacific Ocean in eastern Fukushima Prefecture. Its center is Muraide, a town on the Rikuzenhama Kaido Highway, and the Joban Line runs through it. In 1984, the Fukushima Daini Nuclear Power Plant was built here (currently out of power generation due to a radioactive material leak accident in March 2011). The Kidogawa Valley in the west is a famous spot for viewing autumn leaves. The town sustained damage during the Great East Japan Earthquake. 103.64 ^km2 . 7,700 people (2010).

福島県東部，太平洋に面する双葉(ふたば)郡の町。中心は陸前浜街道の街村井出で常磐線が通じる。1984年東京電力福島第二原子力発電所が建設された（2011年３月の放射性物質漏えい事故により，発電機能停止中）。西部の木戸川渓谷は紅葉の名所。東日本大震災で，町内において被害が発生。103.64km²。7700人（2010）。
