The Record of the King of Personnel

Japanese:
The Record of the King of Personnel
This is the diary of Prince Shigeakira, son of Emperor Daigo. It is also called the "Records of King Li." The title comes from the Chinese name of the prince's official position, Minister of Ceremonies, "Shosho." Existing copies are either collections of fragments, should be considered "Daigoji Miscellaneous Records," or are forgeries. The fragments quoted in "Saikyūki" and "Seijōyōryaku" span the years from 920 to 953, and are thought to have originally been an extensive diary that recorded court ceremonies and other matters.
