Andersson, D.

...Therefore, when referring to the country's literature, it is not appropriate to immediately evoke an international character from the term proletarian. Dan Andersson (1888-1920), a representative poet of early proletarian literature, sought a religious state, but disliked politics and was not connected to revolutionary ideas. On the other hand, such writers as Moberg, who wrote about impoverished peasants who emigrated overseas, Ivar Lo-Johansson (1901- ), who energetically wrote autobiographical works on the theme of small-scale farmers, Stig Dagerman (1923-54), who demonstrated his genius in many fields but took his own life at a young age, and Nils Ferlin (1898-1961), a satirical poet who has been called the Chaplin of the poetry world, can also be included in the category of proletarian writers.
