Anaptomorphidae

...This period can be said to be the period of adaptive radiation of prosimians, and the number of species increased. Currently known species include Adapis and Notharctus , which are thought to be related to lemurs, Anaptomorphidae , which are related to tarsiers, and Pondaungia and Amphipithecus, both excavated in Myanmar and thought to be ancestors of apes. Famous species of Adapidae include the Adapinae subfamily found in Europe and the Notharctinae subfamily found in North America.
