In polarography (voltammetry), a method for determining the end point of a titration reaction by utilizing the fact that the diffusion current is proportional to the concentration of the depolarizer. Either the titrant or the titrant, or both, can be oxidized or reduced at the indicator electrode to give a polarographic diffusion current.
