Ochi - Echi

He is one of the masters known as the Ten Masters of the Performing Arts. According to Zeami's Sarugaku Dangi, he was from Aichi County, Omi (Shiga Prefecture), and was good at creating female masks. Many female masks said to be made by Ochi remain to this day, but the authenticity of these remains unclear. There is also a theory that he is the name of a group of artists.
