absentee

...refers to the situation in which workers are absent from work on scheduled work days, in large numbers and continuously, without permission or for reasons that are not recognized as legitimate. It can also be translated as planned absenteeism or intentional absenteeism. Such absentees are called absentees. Such actions are not organized, and no reasons or goals are stated, which makes them different from labor disputes. Absenteeism became a major social problem from the late 1960s to the 1970s, especially in developed Western countries.
