A chronological record of the successive Shugo of Wakasa Province. One volume. The original form was created during the Showa era (1312-17) at the end of the Kamakura period, and it was repeatedly added up until around 1422 (Oei 29) before taking on its current form. Beginning with the appointment of Tsutsumi Uemon Jiro Tadaki as Shugo in 1196 (Kenkyu 7), it records not only the appointment of Shugo Shoin, but also the appointment periods of Shugo Daikan and Shugo Mata Daikan. Along with Nagato Province Shugoshoku Shidai (included in Zoku Gunsho Ruiju), it is a valuable historical document. Included in Gunsho Ruiju. 若狭国の歴代の守護を編年に記した補任書。1巻。鎌倉時代末期の正和年間(1312‐17)に原形がつくられ,以後1422年(応永29)ころまで再三書きつがれて現在の体裁になった。建久7年(1196)の津々見右衛門次郎忠季の守護就任にはじまり,守護正員のみならず,守護代官,守護又代官の就任期等を記したもの。《長門国守護職次第》(《続群書類従》所収)とともに貴重な史料である。《群書類従》所収。【小田 雄三】
