Rochea coccinea

A general term for the genus Rokea in the Crassulaceae family. It is a semi-shrub-like perennial plant with four species distributed in South Africa, but in horticulture it usually refers to Rokea cocchinae. The plant height is 30-60cm. The obovate leaves are arranged in opposite crosses, and a cyme is formed at the top of the stem. The corolla is high-pitched and has five lobes, about 4cm long, with the petals spreading outwards. The flower color is scarlet red. It is sold in pots. It is weak to cold, high temperatures and humidity. It is best to keep it in partial shade in summer and as cool as possible, and keep the temperature above 5℃ in winter.
