Rhodes (Rhodes) is an ancient city on the east coast of the island of Rhodes. It was founded by the Dorians as a city-state along with Ialyssos and Kameiros. They colonized Gera, Rhegium, Phaselis, and other places. The temple of Athena Lindia is famous, and votive offerings from all over the Mediterranean region have been excavated.
