America's second largest automobile manufacturer, one of the so-called Big Three. Abbreviated as Ford. It is the most multinational of all the automobile manufacturers in the world. Its headquarters are in Dearborn, Michigan. It was founded in Lansing, Michigan in 1903 by H. Ford. The Model A, released soon after the company's founding, sold well, followed by the Model C and Model F. In 1908, the famous Model T was released, realizing H. Ford's long-held dream of a mass-produced car for the masses.

アメリカ第2位の自動車メーカーで，いわゆるビッグ･スリーの一社。略称フォード。世界の自動車メーカーのなかでは最も多国籍企業化が進んでいる。本社ミシガン州ディアボーン。　1903年，H.フォードによりミシガン州ランシングに設立された。設立早々発売したフォードA型はよく売れ，次いでC型，F型と発売した。08年には有名なフォードT型(T型フォード)を，H.フォードが長年抱いていた大量生産による大衆車を実現した自動車として発売した。
