Pontos Euxeinos (English spelling)

...Most of the coastal areas are blessed with a mild climate, especially in the summer when the weather is dry and sunny, making it a comfortable place to live, and there are many resorts such as Yalta in Ukraine, Sochi in Russia, Constanta and Mamaia in Romania, and Varna and Burgas in Bulgaria. The Black Sea was called Pontos Euxeinos in ancient Greece, Afshaena in ancient Persia, and Karadenis in 15th century Turkey, but it means "Black Sea" except in ancient Greece.
