A type of grazing method. A pasture is divided into several pastures, and livestock are grazed in each section in turn according to the grass growth. The area of the pastures varies depending on the number of grazing animals and the productivity of the grassland, but a typical pasture size of 4-5 tons of grass per 10 ares per year for about five dairy cows is considered appropriate. This method utilizes the grass of the entire pasture on average, and livestock are always able to eat young grass, which is good for their nutrition. Normally, the number of grazing days per pasture is rotated every 3-10 days, and grass growth is maintained.
