Monism - Ichigenron

In the philosophical explanation of phenomena, this refers to a position or tendency to consider a single ultimate being, principle, concept, method, etc., and is opposed to pluralism, which considers two or more ultimate things. There are various types of monism, such as metaphysical, religious, and theological monism, which considers a single substance or God as the origin of existence, epistemological monism, which considers the mind or, in contrast, objective reality as the only trigger, ethical monism, which considers specific factors in behavior to be fundamental in explaining norms, and methodological monism.
