An evergreen tall tree of the Sapindaceae family, said to be native to India or China. It can reach a height of over 10 meters, and its leaves are compound, consisting of lanceolate leaflets. The fruit is spherical and yellowish brown, with fine wart-like protrusions on its surface. It contains a single seed, surrounded by juicy white flesh. The fruit is eaten raw or dried.
