Li Qingzhao

A female lyricist in the Song dynasty of China. Her pen name was Yian Gushi. She was from Jinan (Shandong Province). A gifted woman well versed in literature and art, she married Zhao Mingcheng, a well-known epigrapher, and together they lived an elegant life of hobbies and learning. However, due to the invasion of the Jin army at the end of the Northern Song dynasty, she fled to Jiangnan, where her husband died. In her later years, she lived in exile in Zhejiang Province, where she remarried and divorced, and was unfortunate. It is said that Mingcheng's writing, "Jinshi Lu," was written with her help. She was particularly famous as a writer of "ci," a form of literary song and lyricism that was popular at the time. She stood out for her fresh sensibility and bold expressions, and was renowned as the leading female lyricist. Her collection of citations is one volume, "Sogyoku Ci." There is also a new collection, Li Qingzhao Collection (1962), which includes poetry and prose.

中国、宋(そう)代の女流詞人。号は易安(いあん)居士。済南（山東省）の人。文学、芸術に通じた才女で、金石学者として知られる趙明誠(ちょうめいせい)に嫁し、趣味と学問の優雅な生活をともにしたが、北宋末の金軍の侵略のため江南に逃れ、ついで夫に死別、晩年は浙江(せっこう)省に流寓(りゅうぐう)し、再婚、離婚を経験するなど不遇であった。明誠の著述『金石録』は彼女の協力によってなったという。当時流行の歌辞文芸「詞」の作家としてことに有名。清新な感覚と警抜な表現をもって傑出し、女流詞人の第一人者としての名声がある。詞集は『漱玉(そうぎょく)詞』一巻。また詩文をもあわせた新しい輯本(しゅうほん)『李清照集』（1962）がある。
