Rikubetsu [town] - Rikubetsu
A town in Ashoro County, eastern Hokkaido. Occupies the upper reaches of the Tokachibetsu River. A major producer of timber, the town also operates a lumber mill. Dairy farming, including dairy cow breeding, is also practiced. Area: 608.90 km2 . Population: 2,650 (2010).
