This refers to 20 excellent pieces of calligraphy among the records of statues carved in the Guyang Cave of the Longmen Grottoes. The author of the 519 work, such as the Records of the Statues of Emperor Cixiang and Emperor Huizheng, is largely unknown, but the strong, angular brushstrokes were highly praised during the Qing dynasty.
