Ann Landers
1918‐2002
American female journalist. Her real name is Esther Pauline Friedman Lederer. She writes the newspaper advice column, Ann Landers. Her pertinent and witty answers have made her popular for many years. Her column has appeared in over 1,000 newspapers around the world. Her books include What Did You Ask? (1962), Teenagers and Sex (1964), and The Ann Landers Encyclopedia, A to Z (1978).
