Neptune's seventh moon. It was discovered in 1981, but was rediscovered as a separate planet in 1989 from photos taken by Voyager 2. Its name comes from the wife of Poseidon, the sea god in Greek mythology. It orbits the planet Neptune in the fifth innermost orbit, and like the Naiads, it is thought to eventually fall into Neptune. It is non-spherical and has an average diameter of about 190 km.
