A Chinese Buddhist book, 3 or 4 volumes. Also called the Five Teachings of the Avatamsaka Ornament or the Chapter on the Divided Teachings of the Avatamsaka Ornament. Written by Fa-zang. It regards the philosophy of the Avatamsaka Ornament as the highest, and organizes the Buddhism preached by Shakyamuni into five teachings: Small, Beginning, End, Sudden, and Round.
