Ladin language - Ladingo (English spelling)

A Romance language spoken in the Alto Adige region of northern Italy and in parts of the Dolomiti Alps. It is a Rhaeto-Romance language. It has about 15,000 to 20,000 speakers. It is gradually declining due to the influence of standard Italian and German spoken in neighboring areas.
