Fire and Thunder God - Honoikazuchi no Kami

A god who appears in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. One of the eight thunder gods born to the body of Izanami-no-Mikoto in the underworld. Also, in a lost passage from the "Yamashiro no Kuni Fudoki," Tamayorihime becomes pregnant by a red-lacquered arrow that floated down the river, giving birth to Kamo Wakeikazuchi-no-Mikoto, and this red-lacquered arrow is said to be the god of fire and thunder.
