Carrier - Unsounin
A person whose business is to enter into a transportation contract with a shipper and undertake transportation. Therefore, he is a merchant (Article 502, Paragraph 4 of the Commercial Code). Depending on the object of transportation, he is classified as a goods carrier or a passenger carrier, and depending on the transportation area, he is classified as a land carrier, a maritime carrier, or an air carrier. Chapter 8 of Part 2 of the Commercial Code, Transportation Business, applies to land carriers, and Chapter 3 of the Commercial Code, Maritime (International Maritime Carriage of Goods Act for ocean-going ships), applies to maritime carriers. The Warsaw Convention on International Carriage of Goods by Air applies to air carriers.
