Hanging scroll - Kakejiku
Also called kakemono, kakeji, or kakehika. A painting or calligraphy is mounted in cloth or paper, attached to a bamboo or wooden scroll, and prepared to be hung in a tokonoma alcove or other space. A vertical scroll is called a tatejiku or johaku, and a horizontal scroll is called a yokohaku. They can be hung as a single scroll, a pair of scrolls (double scrolls), or a triple scroll.
