A facility that simultaneously performs joint drying and threshing/preparation work in paddy field cultivation using a large-scale mechanized system centered on combine harvesters. There are two types: (1) a combine/dryer type that performs rice harvesting → threshing/preparation → packaging/shipping in one set, (2) a type where farmers perform direct threshing and then the processes after drying/preparation, and (3) a type where farmers perform the process up to semi-drying of paddy and then the finish drying and preparation. In order to increase the operating capacity of rice centers, it is necessary to standardize cultivated varieties and harvesting periods and to group paddy fields. In order to alleviate excessive capital investment, it is desirable to increase the size of combine harvesters from 50 horsepower to 200 horsepower or more.

コンバインを中心とする大型機械化体系の水田栽培において，共同乾燥と脱穀調製作業とを同時に行う施設。 (1) 稲刈り→脱穀調製→包装出荷をワンセットで行うコンバイン・ドライヤー型，(2) 農家が直脱穀までをやり，乾燥調製以後の工程を行う型，(3) 農家が籾の生乾燥までをやり，仕上げ乾燥以後を行う型，がある。ライスセンターの稼働能力を上げるには，栽培品種と刈取り期を統一し，水田の集団化を行うことが必要であり，設備投資の過剰を緩和するためにもコンバインを 50馬力規模のものから 200馬力以上のものへと大型化することが望まれる。
