A town in Hiki District, central Saitama Prefecture. Located to the east of Higashimatsuyama City. Rice and strawberry cultivation are the main industries. The town is home to the Yoshimi Hyakuana (historic site), the luminous moss habitat (natural monument), and the remains of Matsuyama Castle. Area: 38.64 km2 . Population: 21,079 (2010).
